Usually you must return the car on the agreed date, time, and to the location listed in your rental agreement, unless you received permission to change it.​
The vehicle should be returned in the same condition, with the required fuel level (for example, full-to-full if that was your plan), otherwise cleaning or refuelling fees may apply.
Returning to a different branch is often possible, but must normally be agreed in advance and can involve a one‑way or drop fee, especially between cities or countries.
Many locations have a short grace period (for example around 29 minutes) after the scheduled return time; after that, hourly or an extra rental day may be charged.​ If you return the car after hours, the vehicle is usually only checked in on the next business day, and you remain responsible until then.

Stop the car safely, turn on hazard lights, and ensure no further danger; move to the roadside if possible.
Notify the rental company, provide location, contract number, and details.
Do not leave the scene; exchange details with other parties (names, contacts, insurance, license plates).
Take photos/videos of the damage (all angles), scene, vehicles, and injuries; note weather/time.
File a police report (mandatory for insurance); get the official number/reference.
Await towing/repair instructions from the company; do not authorize unauthorized repairs.

Entrance pass can be used only on rented car and Puerto Banus terms apply on every visitor. Violating rules occur extra fees.
